We are collecting examples of publicity items here that you can copy or modify to meet the needs of your local situation.
Attached are a set of displays (pdf) and a flyer (pdf) produced by Sue Hall for use at Peak Camp. You will need Open Office to edit the flyer (odt) as it does not convert to word very well. There are no contact details or locations on the documents so this need not be a problem. The displays cover:
- About bells and towers
- How to ring – bell handling & method ringing
- The benefits of bell ringing
- Cutaway of a tower
Sue is happy for anything to be used providing her name is kept on the copy.
A slightly different flyer lists the benefits of bell ringing, describing it as the perfect hobby – and a comprehensive list it is too.
Finally 
don’t forget that the branch owns a couple of display boards and a pair of pull-up banners which can be borrowed to support any bell ringing related activity. These boards contain general information about bell ringing. There is a reference to the Big Ring Pull website at the bottom of these banners. This address now automatically forwards people directly to the Branch website.
